Choosing the Right Three-Ring Presentation Binder for Your Needs
If you have an important meeting or presentation coming up, you should consider using three-ring presentation binders. These supplies can keep your work organized, convey a professional image, and they make it easy to share your documents with others. Presentation binders are also highly customizable because they have clear overlays so you can create your own title pages and spine. There are a few things you need to think about when choosing the three-ring presentation binders for your needs. Check them out:
Color. The vast majority of presentation binders are white. This color is fine for most purposes, but there are different colors available if you want to make a statement. Some of these hues include black and navy blue. Keep in mind that if you need to order clear overlay binders in a custom color, it might be really expensive.
Ring configuration. There are two main types of ring configuration: round ring and D-ring. Most binders feature one of these configurations, with D-ring binders being more suitable for thick documents. There are a few EZ-load D-ring binders on the market. You might want to seek them out if you work exclusively with thicker documents.
Thickness. Presentation binders are available in a number of thicknesses. The rings range in diameter from 1/2” to 4”. (Half-inch increments are available.) You'll want to keep in mind that binders with rings that are 3” across or more won't have round rings. Also, the binders will be slightly thicker than the rings' diameter.
Size. Most presentation binders can easily accommodate letter-sized paper. There are some binders available for half-letter, legal-, and tabloid-sized documents. These supplies might be a bit difficult to find, unfortunately. They also won't have as many options such as clear overlays, D-rings, etc. Due to this, you may want to work solely with letter-sized paper.
Quality. Finally, you should choose high-quality binders so your work will look professional. You'll know that your binder is high-quality if it has deep inside pockets, sheet lifts, and if it features materials such as heavy chipboard. Also, the clear overlay shouldn't transfer toner so you'll be able to reuse the binder again and again.
It's easy to choose the right three-ring presentation binders for your needs as long as you keep these things in mind as you shop. Also, try to remember that you get with you pay for. If you want to make your documents look great, be prepared to spend a little bit more, especially if you want to reuse the binders later on. Good luck with your presentation!
