Five Things to Consider When Choosing a Three-Hole Punch

If you use a lot of three-ring binders, you should consider getting a three-hole punch. There are a lot of these devices available, so it can be helpful to know what to look for when choosing your punch. Here are five things to consider:

• Electric or manual? You will need to decide whether you want an electric or manual punch. Manual punches are generally affordable and they usually feature high-quality parts. However, electric punches are easier to use and they'll help you punch holes quickly. They're also more expensive, so choose accordingly.
• Punching capacity. Another important consideration is how much sheets the device can punch at one time. Desktop punches can usually only punch a few sheets at a time while bigger devices can process larger quantities of paper. • Adjustable punching heads. You should think about whether you need a punch with adjustable punching heads. • Replaceable punching dies. Finally, you may want to get a punch that can use replaceable dies. The dies will become dull over time and if you can replace them, you'll need to buy a new punch. This can be inconvenient, obviously.
