UniBind SteelBack Spines

UniBind SteelBack Spines are a thermally activated binding element. Similar to thermal binding, simply insert a document into the SteelBack spine and place one or more documents into your UniBind machine. The binding process takes approximately 45 seconds to complete, then place the completed documents into the cooling rack, and repeat!

SteelBack spines differ from traditional thermal binding systems in that you can use your own cover sets. SteelBack spines are a colored spine with a removeable paper liner. Once your document is bound, the paper liner can be torn off. The end result is a custom bound document, with your own cover set.

Traditional thermal systems have a one peice cover set. In order to customize your documents, you need to order them in each spine width. With SteelBack spines, you can order cover sets independantly from your strips, limiting your cost of inventory!
