Tab Capable Equipment

If you are not sure if your copier can print onto tabs or if you aren't sure what tabs you might need for your copier here is a list of a number of different index Tab Capable copiers. According to their manufacturers these machines can print onto tabs and most can also insert tabs into documents. We have not fully tested all the machines listed below with our DocuCopy tabs. However, free test samples are available to help you evaluate our tabs in your equipment -- just ask.

The machines listed here are capable of printing onto tabs, according to their manufacturers. However, DocuCopy tabs have not been tested in all of them, so we cannot guarantee satisfactory tab performance in every situation. Many other machines not listed here can also print onto tabs, even though they may not be equipped to print tabs in sequence and automatically insert them into finished documents. This includes many low to mid-volume copiers and printers. In those situations, use uncollated single position tabs and print one tab position at a time; use the machine's bypass feed feature if necessary. Test samples are available. Most desktop laser and inkjet printers do not have the ability to print sheets larger than 8-1/2" x 11" or heavy paper, such as tabs.
