Komtrak Inspiral II 22mm Black 19-Ring Spiral Combs - 100pk
Komtrak Inspiral II spiral binding combs provide a new twist on an old binding style. These special binding elements are designed for use with a traditional comb binding system. However, documents bound with the Inspiral system offer convenient 360 degree rotation and a new contemporary look that is far superior to traditional plastic binding combs. Komtrak Inspiral II spiral combs are designed to provide a high quality permanent bind to your most important presentations and proposals. Although these spines are used in conjunction with a traditional GBC® style plastic comb binding machine, Inspiral II combs work more like spiral coil than plastic combs. You simply spin the Inspiral II coil through the holes on the edge of your book and then bend the ends of the coil over so that the coil doesn't spin back off the book. Komtrak Inspiral II combs are available in sizes ranging from 10mm (3/8 ½) up to 38mm (1-1/2 ½). Just make sure that you choose a size that is 3-5mm larger than your book thickness to allow your pages to turn freely. At MyBinding.com we carry both 25 packs for smaller jobs or 100 packs of the Inspiral and Inspiral II combs. Check out these new Komtrak Inspiral II spiral binding combs today.
Komtrak Inspiral Binding Instructions
1. Punch holes in your book to be bound with a standard 9/16" pitch (19 ring) plastic comb binding punch. Straighten the pages to align holes. To insert by hand, place the book to be bound on a table with the punched side extended past the table edge. 2. Insert the first ring through the top of the first hole on the right. Use both hands to turn the Inspiral spiral binding comb through the remaining holes. 3. With a small pair of needle nosed pliers, make a sharp bend 5/16" to 3/4" from each end of the Inspiral II element. For safety and to prevent snags, be sure to point the tips of the coil inward towards the spine of the book. | |
