When it comes to roll laminators, one of the names you should look for is Royal Sovereign. The company makes some of the best laminators around including the RSH-1050. Here is some in-depth information about this product, including how it rates on a 1-to-10 scale.

The RSH-1050 is ideal for processing large items because it has a laminating width of 41 inches. It's large enough to handle posters, maps, blueprints, and so on. You can also use to to laminate small items if you wish.
This laminator is compatible with film that's as thin as 1 mil and as thick as 10 mil. Thinner films are great for documents requiring flexibility while the thicker ones are great to use if you want to protect your items from the elements and frequent handling. The rolls of film you purchase should have cores that are either 2.25" or 3" wide. You can use both thermal and pressure-sensitive film with this device.
If you need to work with mounting boards, the RSH-1050 can handle them. Just make sure that your supplies are no more than 5/8" thick.
Unfortunately, the RSH-1050 takes a long time to warm up. You can expect to wait about 25 minutes before it's ready for use.
