These premium quality 6mm spiral binding coils are part of our unique Eco-Coil line of recycled spiral binding supplies. Although these particular coils are silver in color, Eco-Coil binding spines are now available in almost 50 colors. Eco-Coil spiral binding supplies are made from 100% post-consumer waste. Plastic scrap such as the clear plastic used in retail display packaging is gathered, washed, ground and then extruded into small uniform pellets. These pellets are then melted down and used to create the plastic filament for the coil. The recycled content of the coil can sometimes vary slightly in clarity and can cause a slight color shift in some of our lighter colors, in most cases the shift is not noticeable, but we thought we should mention it for those customers who are extremely sensitive to variations in color. These coils are made right here in the USA (not China) and the coils are guaranteed to be lead free, phthalate free, CPSIA compliant and ROHS compliant. They are an ideal choice for organizations that want to do their part to reduce waste and help the environment. In fact, our Eco-Coil spines are not only 100% recycled but they are also fully recyclable.
