This device has the ability to shred documents that still have paper clips and staples attached to them. It can also shred credit cards, CD's, and DVD's so you will be able to protect your information no matter what format it's in. There are separate feed openings for paper and plastic items.
The Powershred 225i offers a decent amount of security since it is a strip-cut machine. Your items will be turned into spaghetti-like strips that are just 7/32� wide.
This shredder operates quietly thanks to SilentShred technology. The machine also has the SafeSense feature that disables the shredder when your hands are in the vicinity of the feed opening.
