If security is important to you, it's vital that you choose a shredder that can deliver. One device you will want to consider if the Dahle 40334. This is a micro-cut shredder that offers an extremely high level of security and it's equipped with a lot of special features. Let's take a look at this machine's strengths and weaknesses so you can decide if it's the right shredder for you:

Strengths:

The 40334 is a level 6 micro-cut shredder that's designed to give you as much security as possible. This is a great shredder for governmental offices at both the state and federal level, and it's also ideal for Department of Defense contractors.
Since this machine has a 10.25-inch feed opening, you will be able to shred paper of varying sizes. You will even be able to shred letter-sized documents.
This shredder is great for shared work areas because it has a 23-gallon waste bin. You can use gusseted shred bags to increase the waste bin's capacity which is nice and convenient. The machine features a thermally protected motor so you can shred non-stop. This is a very helpful feature to have, especially during busy workdays.
The 40334 has Dahle's popular SmartPower feature that reduces power consumption when the machine is idle. Also, this feature causes the shredder to power off when it hasn't been used for 20 minutes. This greatly helps reduce wear and tear on the device.
Maintaining the 40334 is no trouble at all because it comes equipped with an EvenFlow automatic oiler. As long as there is oil in the reservoir, the oiler will work as needed to keep the machine running smoothly.
