These maroon 1-1/8" plastic combs are some of the highest quality binding combs on the market and are designed to fit any standard plastic comb binding machine . Hand-rolled to provide a smooth glossy finish, these 1-1/8" maroon combs allow pages to flip freely and lie flat for easy reading and margin to margin photocopying. Designed for use with 8.5" x 11" pages, these 1-1/8" spines can hold about 225 sheets. Each 19-ring maroon 1-1/8" plastic binding comb is made of rigid PVC plastic that won't scratch, chip, peel, or discolor. Get 100 maroon 1-1/8" plastic combs with every order. Product number PC118MR.
Note: The size of the plastic comb should always be 1/8" thicker than the size of the book. To determine the size of comb that you need, measure the thickness of your book (including covers) and add 1/8".

Questions & Answers
Great question! The different binding styles have different pitches ( spacing between holes) but there is one type of coil that shares the same spacing as Comb binding. The Komtrak binding coils also uses the pitch and are compatible with comb binding. ( link: https://www.mybinding.com/brands/komtrak.html )
