Questions & Answers

This price is for one roll, but you do have to order film in multiples of 2.

Thanks for you question. That film would be made from PET - Polyethylene terephthalate, EVA - Ethylene-vinyl acetate and PE - Polyethylene. Please be advised that laser cutting this item will cause off gassing.

These laminating rolls come in singles, when ordering please be sure to order a quantity of 2 to ensure you have a top and bottom roll for your laminator.

Thank you for your question. This item is sold individually, so this would be the price for 1 roll.

Thank you for your question. You can trim laminate after it has been processed. If you break the seal around the edge of the sheet there is a chance for pealing as the laminate adheres better to itself than to paper. It does get a solid bond but wear and tear may cause it to peal.

Most machines will list in the manual what thickness of film it can go up to. If you are not sure, we can always look up your make and model and help you order the correct film.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to use a standard roll of laminating film with a pouch laminator. The Fellowes Spectra 95 is designed to use with laminating pouches that are sealed on one edge and have a top and bottom flap. The top and bottom flap are aligned to prevent glue from coming in contact with the rollers of the machine or the pouch carrier. Your best bet is really to buy 3mil or 5mil laminating pouches to use with your machine.

You can use a binding machine to punch the finished product without a problem. The only potential issue that you may have is that by punching through the laminate you are going to expose the edges of the paper at the holes meaning that the sheet will not be waterproof in that area. For most people that shouldn't be a big deal but it is worth noting.

If you have a 27" Laminator you can use any width of film up to 27 inches as long as the core size is correct (most school laminators use 1 inch core film). The most popular variety of film for schools is 1.5mil 25x500 on a 1 inch core.
