All L hangers provided must be used for proper installation. Provided: 6-12 L hangers depending on board size, markers and eraser, 6-14 #8 ½” screws depending on board size, accessory tray. Additional materials required: pencil, level, stud finder, drill, 1/8” drill bit, #8 1 ¼” pan head self-tapping screws, wall anchors/mollies(no studs), Phillips screw driver, tape measure. Your Ghent Whiteboard is designed for mounting on most wall surfaces. For the most secure mounting, screws should e fastened directly into at least two wall studs. Ghent recommends using #8 x 1- ¼” pan head type self-tapping screws. When wall studs cannot be used, we recommend using expandable wall anchors. It is also recommended that at least two people hand this board. Remove accessory tray from board. Determine height and location of board. Level board and scribe line. Drill holes through tray using #8 1x1/2” pan head screws. Level tray and mark holes. Drill pilot holes. Use mounting screws to attach to wall. Place board on tray. Place board at least 8” rom edge (2’x3’ trays at least 6.5” from edge). Scribe lines on top two corners and remove board. Trace L-hangers along scribed lie. Use studs, if no studs present, use mollies(not provided). Drill 1/8” pilot holes and secure with mounting c=screws (not provided). Place board on accessory tray. Tap L-hangers secure to board and trace. Drill 1/8” pilot holes. Place board on accessory tray. Secure with provided #8 mounting screws. Place markers and erasers. Place endcaps on tray. Ghent.
