ProductDescription

These black Coverbind Ambassador on Demand covers allow you to create/print your own customized hard cover documents in just minutes. Never before has hard cover binding been this easy. These covers are pre-formed so that all you need to do is drop your pages in and the machine will do the rest. The front of each black Ambassador on demand cover has a debossed area for a custom printed label (labels are included in the box). This allows you to create one-off customized documents in just minutes using your inkjet or laser printer. Each hard cover case has a strip of aggressive EVA glue in the spine that is embedded with book fabric for added strength. This eliminates the need for crimping. I recently purchased a used Coverbind 5000 thermal binding machine for making Career Books for Navy retirees. I am amazed at how simple they are to make and professional looking they are. I presented the first one one Monday and the response was overwhelmingly positive! I wish they cam in more colors I can see this as becoming a highly sought after product.

Welcome to MyBinding video. This video looks at CoverBind’s Ambassador on Demand Thermal Cover. This attractive, hard bound thermal cover is all you need to meet a customizable on the go professional cover. With a built in adhesive right into the spine, thermal binding has never been simpler but the real strength of the Ambassador on Demand is the front cover has a debossed area for a custom printed label that’s included in the box. This allows you to create personalized hard covers using your inkjet or laser printer. The labels are standard 8 ½ x 11 sheet that you design and print off or even photocopied on to. Remove the deep couches like you would any sticker and centering up using the debossed area as a guide. Go slowly, gently and spread out everything nice and smooth and you’re all set. That looks great for just a few minutes of work. Think of all the presentations or home or school projects that can be presented with extra flare with this and they work great in all the CoverBind thermal binding machines. That is Ambassador on Demand. For more demos, reviews and how to’s, check out MyBinding.com.

Questions & Answers
Q:
I'm having trouble getting my cover label centered correctly on the sheet provided. Is there a template of some kind or specific measurements that I can input on Microsoft Word or something similar? Thanks.
Asked by Josh 4 months ago
A:
Thank you for your question. We contacted CoverBind and unfortunately they do not have templates available for the labels or the specific offset for printing the labels.

Q:
Are these covers reusable? I watched the demonstration video on how to edit a thermal bound book, but I'm curious if the contents of a finished book can be removed and replaced entirely with the same method.
Asked by Josh 4 months ago
A:
Thank you for your question. Wholesale replacement of all the pages of a previously bound book would not work because if you remove all of the pages, it would pull too much glue out with those pages to get a reliable second bind. Just removing a page or two doesn't pull enough glue out to be detrimental.

Q:
Will this work with my inexpensive inkjet printer?
Asked by Lillian Y. 8 months ago
A:
Yes you should be able to print the labels for the front of these covers on most inkjet or laser printers. just run them through the printer and adhere them to the front of the cover.
