This all-in-one coil binding system is great for the beginner and for the small office. It has everything you need on a small scale, like a side margin control to make sure that all punches are consistent throughout your project. And every die pin is disengageable which allows for half holes or mispunched holes to be corrected as well as the use of any size sheet of paper. There’s a depth of margin control slider right here on the right hand side which allows for thinner or thicker margins, allowing you to bind any size book you want and have the right strength in the bind for it. With everything set and ready to go, let’s begin with the covers. If you start with your project facing up, process your whole project facing up. Move on the insides of your book and punch through your entire set. The Ecoil 46 can punch up to 10 sheets of 20-pound paper in a single punch. With everything punched, assemble your project. It’s time to bind. First, initiate the coil onto the spine by twisting with your hand. And then, using the pedal, either by hand or by foot, initiate the roller on the top of the machine. This will drive the coil spine all the way down the edge of your book. A pair of coil crimping pliers is included in this set. You can use it to trim off the end of your project. This not only clips the end of the coil but also crimps it so it does not come undone. And there it is. It’s all done. And that’s the Office Ecoil 46.
