Product Description

This Formax Cut-True 29H 20.5" Hydraulic Programmable Guillotine Cutter accurately cuts paper stacks up to 3.15" high and up to 20.5" wide. Its user-friendly features include a touchscreen LCD control panel, automatically-adjusting back gauge, the ability to program up to 100 jobs/100 cuts, a LED Cutting Line which shows exactly where the blade will cut, an infrared light beam safety curtain that provides safety and convenience as it shuts down operation if the light plane is interrupted, and a hardened steel blade for crisp, accurate cuts, every time.

The Cut-True 29H has a cutting accuracy of 0.1mm on paper stacks up to 8mm. This programmable cutter features a special anti-friction surface with optional wide side tables, making it easier for operators to maneuver large paper stock. A false clamp is included to minimize the risk of marking sensitive paper stock or perfect bound books. The clamp can be removed to decrease the minimum cut length, and is easily stored within the machine. Plus, it has an internal light to illuminate the cutting area. The Cut-True 29H Cutter uses hydraulic pressure to engage the paper clamp, which is adjustable to give the best possible clamp pressure for different paper weights and stack heights. The 29H also features a foot pedal pre-clamp to check the paper position before cutting. The Cut-True 29H is ideal for transforming large sheets into brochures, invitations and more.

Align the side table then mounted into place by using the knots and bolts provided. Be sure the side table is flash with the cutter table. With the side table securely in place, feed the yellow cable through the second opening in the side table. Next, screw the cable connector into the top of the safety curtain sensor. Slide the sensor bar back into place and hand tighten the knots to hold it in position. Repeat the same installation steps for the second side table. Align the safety curtain to the side table and screw into place. With safety curtains in position, check to be sure they are properly aligned and working. To test, place your hand between the sensors. You should see a red light go on and off. If the curtains are in place correctly, you should hear a click each time you place your hand between the sensors. If the sensor light does not go on and there is no click, adjust the sensor bars up or down until they align properly. When the sensors are correctly aligned, fasten each of the knots securely to ensure that the sensors will not move. Place the safety curtain covers back into position and carefully screw them back into place.
