Formax FD 90 Rotary Perforating and Creasing Machine

Formax presents the FD 90 Perforator and Creaser. This tabletop perforator creaser is ideal for on demand digital print finishing. Perforating allows for easy separation of multiple documents, tear-offs, postcards, or tickets printed on a single sheet while creasing a printed piece allows for easy folding and reduces unsightly cracking at the fold lines. The FD 90 is specially designed to perforate and or crease sheets up to 13.8 x 19 inches using a 3-tiered friction feeding system to reliably feed up to 6,800 sheets per hour. It can easily accommodate paper weights from 55 to 180 GSM. The FD 90 comes standard with 2 perforating wheels and one creasing wheel. The wheels can be easily adjusted along the shaft to accommodate various perforating and creasing positions. Up to 5 perforating or creasing wheels can be mounted to the shafts providing up to 5 parallel perforations or creases in one pass. To set up the FD 90, begin by attaching the in-feed table. Then install the telescoping out-feed stacker and guides. To operate, simply set the perforating and or creasing wheel positions. Load printed sheets on the extendible in-feed table, adjust the side guides, and press the power button. Sheets are fed and perforate or crease the forms automatically, then stacked neatly on the telescoping out-feed table. Create three mailing inserts from one 8.5 x 11 inch sheet. Create a tear-off for prize entries or tickets. Create a folded piece with a tear-off by using a perforating and creasing wheel at the same time. The FD 90 is capable of processing 12 x 18 inch sheets thanks to the extendible in-feed table and telescoping out-feed stacker tray.
