Are you looking to improve productivity and save money? Introducing the first fully automated desktop laminator. GBC’s Sprint H950 features an automated document feeder, simple LCD control panel and GBC’s patented EZ-Load film technology. The H950 is an all-in-one system that reduces labor, time and supply costs by 49% or $2,500 per year compared to standard pouch laminators. It feeds, laminates and trims automatically. Ready, set, done. Save time and increase productivity with a warm-up time of only one minute. Getting started is hassle-free. You’ll use minimum effort and get maximum results. Simply load up to 50 documents in the automatic feeder tray, select the film thickness on the easy-to-use LCD panel and press ‘Start.’ You’re then free to move on to your next project.

The Sprint H950 does the rest automatically, laminating up to 50 documents in 12 minutes. Now, let’s take a look at the basic set up and operation of this fully automatic laminator. First, we’ll cover set up. Attach the power cord to the back of the H950 and plug into a standard outlet. Then, turn on the power switch found in the back of the machine. You’ll know it’s on when the LCD in the front control panel lights up. Once on, you’ll need to select a language. This is a one-time only process. Scroll up or down to select your language setting then press ‘Enter.’ Next, open the exit tray for normal operation. For longer documents or banners, simply close the tray. Leave enough clearance in front of the machine for your documents to feed completely through. Then, insert and secure the feed tray into position and adjust side guides to fit your document of choice. Note, when using 8 ½ x 11-inch letter size documents, you must load the document landscape to ensure an even border along all sides of the document.

The H950 laminator comes pre-loaded with 3 mil film, approximately 30 feet to get you started. Now that we finished set up, we’ll take a look at the basic operation and film loading. First, adjust the side guides and place your documents in the document feeder. Press ‘Start’ and lamination will automatically begin after a quick warm-up of just one minute. When completed, the laminated documents will stack in the exit tray and lamination will automatically stop when the job is complete. At the end of each job, the LCD panel will display the number of documents laminated. The counter will reset at the beginning of each job. Now, let’s talk about the hassle-free process of loading film. To maintain productivity, be sure to load film before running out.The H950 will provide a low-film warning before the film runs completely out. First, cut the laminating film as indicated in the directions. Open all four EZ-Load levers and remove the old film. Remove the idler bar assembly, then press the ‘Heat’ button on the inside of the machine. Insert the new film rolls and drape the new film over the old film on the heat shoe. Remember to match the color and size of the film core end to the EZ-Load levers. Next, insert and lock the idler bar assembly, then close the four EZ-Load levers. Press the feed switch forward and hold until the output is wrinkle-free. Then close the top. The H950 remembers the last film thickness setting. Each time you change the film, you must reset the machine by scrolling up or down on the LCD to select the film thickness. Press ‘Enter’ to confirm. If you’re using the same film thickness of the roll you replaced, you do not need to reset the film thickness. Press ‘Start’ to resume lamination.

Now, you can simply walk away as the machine does its work and tend to other needs, like emails or meetings. Ready, set, done. Here are some helpful tips to remember when laminating with the GBC HeatSeal Sprint H950. Before laminating important or unique documents, always run a test document through the laminator using a similar type paper. The laminator is only designed to laminate specified paper products so be sure to read the manual for details. Close the document capture tray if laminating documents longer than regular letter size documents. For easy film loading, stick new film to existing film. The Top Seven Features of the GBC HeatSeal Sprint H950 Roll Laminator

Have you ever wanted to laminate a stack of documents in a short period of time while also doing something else? If so, you’ll want to take a look at the GBC HeatSeal Sprint H950. This is one of the company’s newest roll laminators and it has some features that make it truly amazing, such as its ability to automatically laminate 50 sheets of paper in just 12 minutes. Check out the top seven features of the H950.

  1. It works quickly. As you may have guessed, this laminator is extremely fast. It will warm up in one minute so you can begin work without waiting around and wasting a lot of time. The H950 can process a document that’s 36 inches long in just a minute. In other words, it will take less than 20 seconds for it to fully laminate a letter-sized document (8.5″ x 11″).
  2. Fully automatic operation. This is an automatic device that will do all the work for you once you’ve selected the right settings. (Selecting your settings is a no-brainer thanks to the device’s LCD controls.) The machine has a document feeder that can hold up to 50 sheets of paper and all of your documents will be automatically fed into the device, so you can walk away and do something else in the meantime. It will take the machine only 12 minutes laminate all 50 pages. The documents will be stored in a capture tray when they come out of the machine so you can pick them up when you’re ready.
  3. You can use different kinds of paper. You can use a variety of different papers with the H950. It can handle paper that has a weight between 20 and 70 lbs., as well as sheets that are as small as 6″ across or as wide as 11.5″.
  4. It’s compatible with EzLoad cartridges. The H950 uses Nap Lam II film in the following thicknesses: 1.7, 3, and 5 mil. You can use EzLoad film cartridges with this device to ensure that you’ll never inadvertently load the machine the wrong way.
  5. It shuts off automatically. If you accidentally leave the machine on after use, you won’t have to worry about the motor becoming overheated. That’s because the H950 will turn itself off when it hasn’t been used in 30 minutes.
  6. It will fit on your desk. Despite its amazing capabilities, the H950 is actually small enough to be stored on a desk. It has dimensions of 27.25″ x 25.75″ x 27″. It only weighs 60 pounds, so moving it around won’t be particularly difficult.
  7. Get it serviced right in your office. The H950 comes with one year of on-site service in case something goes wrong with it.

The GBC HeatSeal Sprint H950 is a great laminator to get if you want a machine that can deliver quick results almost completely on its own. This is one of the fastest laminators available and it can really make your workday go more smoothly. Take a look at this great product today so you can see just how quickly it will laminate your documents.
