The Sprint H950 does the rest automatically, laminating up to 50 documents in 12 minutes. Now, let’s take a look at the basic set up and operation of this fully automatic laminator. First, we’ll cover set up. Attach the power cord to the back of the H950 and plug into a standard outlet. Then, turn on the power switch found in the back of the machine. You’ll know it’s on when the LCD in the front control panel lights up. Once on, you’ll need to select a language. This is a one-time only process. Scroll up or down to select your language setting then press ‘Enter.’ Next, open the exit tray for normal operation. For longer documents or banners, simply close the tray. Leave enough clearance in front of the machine for your documents to feed completely through. Then, insert and secure the feed tray into position and adjust side guides to fit your document of choice. Remove the idler bar assembly, then press the ‘Heat’ button on the inside of the machine. Insert the new film rolls and drape the new film over the old film on the heat shoe. Remember to match the color and size of the film core end to the EZ-Load levers. Next, insert and lock the idler bar assembly, then close the four EZ-Load levers. Press the feed switch forward and hold until the output is wrinkle-free. Then close the top. The H950 remembers the last film thickness setting. Each time you change the film, you must reset the machine by scrolling up or down on the LCD to select the film thickness. Press ‘Enter’ to confirm. If you’re using the same film thickness of the roll you replaced, you do not need to reset the film thickness. Press ‘Start’ to resume lamination.
