Thank you for your questions. The Quartet Black Porcelain Classroom Chalkboard weighs approx 71 lbs and with frame it is about 2" in depth. To hang items from the board you would want to use strong magnets such as a rare earth magnet.

Thank you for your question. Monkey hooks are only able to support a small amount of weight without damaging the drywall. I would not suggest hanging a board that is larger than the 2'x3' from monkey hooks. The 2'x3' board weighs 12 lbs.

Thank you for your question. The 2' x 3' Quartet Black Porcelain Classroom Chalkboard weighs just over 15 lbs. Your stand would need to be able to support some thine of that weight. The tray/rail is part of the frame and would not be able to be removed.

Thank you for your question. We verified with Quartet that the tray runs the full length of the long side ( "bottom") of the board ins in unfortunately is not able to be removed.

According to our system the board will weigh 141lbs. This item will need to be shipped via truck and you will need to have someone on hand to unload it. It is also a bit tricky to install due to the length and weight.
