To load staples, open the top cover and insert your staples. Then close it back up!
It uses a full strip of standard 1/4” staples, though look for ones labeled with “premium,” or something similar.
There is no horizontal base on the stapler, so this one is a hand-grip only stapler as demonstrated here. It easily staples up to 25 sheets in a stack.
By pulling from below the staple shaft, you can open the stapler to staple to walls and other flat surfaces.
