ProductDescription

The Swingline SmartTouch Manual three-hole punch can easily punch through as many as 45 sheets. Compared to a standard paper punch, the SmartTouch requires 50 percent less effort. That means punching is twice as easy. Durable metal construction delivers long-lasting performance. The soft-grip handle locks down for a compact storage option when not in use. This Swingline SmartTouch Low Force 45-Sheet 3-Hole Punch offers a hole pattern in the punch base to provide visibility into the chip tray that lets you see when it's full. Pullout tray design makes the punch easier to empty. Built-in ruler and paper edge guide deliver perfectly aligned punching of 9/32" holes. Exact spacing ensures that your hole-punched sheets will match up for use with three-ring binders, three-prong folders and report covers.

Looking through the holes in the front, you can tell if it’s time to empty the waste tray. From there, pull it out, dump it in the trash and put the tray back in.

It’s a fairly simple design, but it is attractive a functional for a most common sized projects.

Here is a final look at the hole punch. It’s main structure is made of metal, with a few plastic gray pieces. And the pads on the bottom give some traction, but it doesn’t make it immovable.
