This is the Tamerica Optimus-46HD 4:1 Pitch Coil Binding Machine!
To begin, first adjust the edge guide on the left. Next bring a page up and find where any of the holes intersect with the edge. Pull any of the pins out that you don’t want punched.
Flip the top switch to punch, insert your page, and push the foot pedal to make the punch. If you need to align it better, now is your chance.
On the left is a depth margin control for smaller or larger bindings—you can see the differences here.
Now you can punch up to 30 pages at a time! Once your project is punched and put together, now thread your plastic coil into a few of the holes. Flip the switch to “bind”, and press the foot pedal to activate the roller. Place the coil on and it will spin it through the entire project.
Now take the provided coil crimpers and clip off the extra coil. Make sure that the red dot is facing up(so you can see it). Flip the book for the other side, and now you have a beautiful coil bound book!
