    I see that you say this will "mount" to a substrate up to 1/4 inch . . . any more details on this would be helpful

    Thank you for your question. The Tamerica TCC-2700XM 27" Extra Mount Roll Laminator is a roll laminator that has a big enough gap that it can be used to laminate stock on to a mounting board up to 1/4" thick.

    Can you laminate on one side only with this machine?

    This machine can be used for one sided lamination, 2 sided lamination or mounting on boards up to 1/4". If you do decided to one sided lamination just make sure to use some sort of backing on the bottom such as kraft paper or laminate your documents face to face with laminate on both the top and bottom. This will prevent a sticky mess that can happen if the adhesive side of the laminate comes into contact with the bottom roller. That is not fun to clean up.

    Thank you for asking. This Laminator and all of the other laminators from Tamerica comes with a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. If you would like we also sell extended warranties for up to 3 years on these machines available after you add the laminator to your cart.
