Transcript: Welcome to MyBinding video. This video looks at TurboCoil, a new 3:1 pitch spiral coil that's built specifically for ease of use with large projects. For this video, we used an HD7100 to process almost an entire ream of paper for this book. TurboCoil uses a specific 3:1 pitch with a large circular hole. Watch here side-by-side, this is us stringing the same size document with both a standard coil and a TurboCoil. This blue coil binding sleeve that you see is made by SlanTIS and it's designed, regardless of what pitch you're using, standard 4:1 coil or TurboCoil's 3:1, to help you hold your project in place while you bind by hand or by machine. As you can tell, we've sped up the film at twice the speed. Now here is four times the speed, and you can see that we're almost done with the entire bind with the TurboCoil but about a third of the way through with the standard coil. In fact, we gave up with the standard coil. Here at MyBinding.com we know just how annoying it can be to bind a large book. TurboCoil, we like you.
