Product Description
This Z-Series No. 1 Precision Knife features a safety cap, solid aluminum handle and one of the sharpest and most durable blades. The gold hue on the cutting edge is a zirconium nitride coating applied at the atomic level after blades are atomically sharpened. The X-Acto Z-Series Knife is designed for delicate, precision cutting, trimming and stripping. The blade easily cuts paper, plastic, balsa, thin metal, cloth, film and acetate. The X-Acto Z-Series Knife includes a No. 11 Classic Fine Point Zirconium Nitride-coated Blade.

First off, it has a safety cap that shields the blade when not in use, and it prevents the knife from rolling away!
The handle is similar to the standard No. 1 handle, but with a gold textured grip. To swap out the Z-Series blade, twist the grip until the blade is loose.
Initially this one didn’t want to come out easily, though this is not normal. Then you can carefully fit a new blade back into the slot—and twist the grip to retighten the blade.
It fits nicely in your hand like a normal pencil.
