Thank you for your question. Yes, this will work on sheets of glass 0" - 3/4" thick and 100lbs or less.

Thank you for your question. The Foster Gorilla Gripper is able to hold material / boards up to 3/4" thick, weighing up to 100 lbs. If your piece of sheet rock weighs less than 100 lbs the Foster Gorilla Gripper would be able to accommodate sheets that are both 1/4" and 5/8" thick.
