These 1-1/2" silver aluminum spiral coil binding spines are designed for use in any 4:1 pitch spiral coil binding machine. These silver metal spiral coils are made of aluminum, making them sturdier, stronger and heavier than the plastic coils. Although these particular coils are silver, we carry metal spiral coils in 3 different colors and in sizes up to 2" in diameter. Note: You need to use a pair of needle nose pliers to crimp the ends of the wire. Standard coil crimpers cannot be used.
