    I am unsure of what weight clear binding cover to purchase for planner covers. Please advice. I want it to be thick enough for durability, but not too thick that it cannot be punched by your binding machine.

    If you have a binding machine that can punch up to 20 sheets of paper at once, you would be fine with the 15 or 20 mil clear covers, punched one at a time. They are very durable. If your machine punches less paper per punch, then you might want to go for a 10 mil thickness.

    What plastic is this make of? Need 15mil material that can be laser cut. Please advise.

    Thanks for your question. Our 15 mil clear covers, https://www.mybinding.com/binding/covers/front-covers/cover-thickness/15-mil.html, are made from a poly vinyl chloride, PVC, material. Please be advised that cutting pvc with a laser will cause off gassing.
