The Westcott TrimAir Titanium 15" Guillotine Paper Trimmer was designed to bring the guillotine into the 21st century. It features an ergonomic handle infused with Microban to inhibit the growth of bacteria. Titanium-bonded blade cuts up to 30 sheets of 20 lb. paper. 15" long blade is curved for optimum cutting performance. The Westcott TrimAir Titanium 15" Guillotine Paper Trimmer has contemporary design that features a wood base, comfortable handle with safety guard, safety lock and transparent safety guard for added protection.

Reduce the amount of pages for some much nicer, cleaner cuts.
Most of the material surrounding the board is made of plastic, besides the blade itself.
That being said, the blade does not move from side to side as some other cheaper cutters do, which means a more precise cut.
The board itself is wood, but deceptively so. there is actually a cover over the actual board, revealing that it is a dense partial board underneath. That’s okay, because this is strong wood, but hopefully the cover does not peal in time.
The blade also locks in place for safety.
