When I was a school boy we used two pocket folders all the time.
We’d have a folder for every project, or reuse them for the next.
During test time they were shields from peeping eyes.
Many of mine lasted through the school year
Other kids were a little more abusive.
I would even tape the edges that began to fray just so it would last longer.

Fitting in, after school activities, oh and girls were suddenly interesting.
I had built organizational habits, but I was on autopilot at that point.
Slowly my habits faded.
In high school I got messier, less organized, so I used less folders.
Everything was clumped into one massive ring binder.
College was similar.
Only now have a looked back and questioned what I have done.
What a mess I have become.
Please forgive me Two Pocket Folders, I want you back.
