All you have to do, is slip your paper or image in. They can be used vertically or horizontally. The larger size has a little extra space on the sides, while the smaller size will more closely fit a 4x6 photo. They made to really only hold one sheet at a time.
Here is a closeup of the edges. It’s made completely of two thin plastic sheets—a clear front and black back.
They are fairly flexible, and once we flip it around you can see the two magnet strips.
