On the left is an adjustable edge guide to help make sure your pages are straight with every cut. It has inch and centimeter measurements on the left edge, with inches spanning the length of the board to 19 inches, and 12 inches down. You can only cut in one direction. It has inch and centimeter measurements on the left edge, with inches spanning the length of the board to 19 inches, and 12 inches down. You can only cut in one direction. First place your sheets into the clear blue paper guide. Here I am attempting the maximum amount of sheets the machine can do, which is 20 pages. Bring the blade across, this is more difficult the more sheets you cut. In the end it cut through all the sheets. When cutting large amounts at a time, the cuts are not smooth and clean, but they cut straight none-the-less. It has a sturdy build with rubber pads at the bottom so it doesn't slide around while you cut. And here is a nice look at the blade in action.

Yes, the blade cuts right to the edge of the board. Please see the video, as it shows that towards the end of it.
