We’re doing the blade change of the Titan 200. Your first step is to loosen your quarter 20 screws up above the blade. Just back those all the way out. Once those are out of your way, you loosen your first slotted screw and remove.

We’re doing the blade change of the Titan 200. Your first step is to loosen your quarter 20 screws up above the blade. Just back those all the way out. Once those are out of your way, you loosen your first slotted screw and remove.
Your second slot and remove. This is where your knife handles will be inserted. That’s your first handle. Make sure they’re good and snug so your blade doesn’t slide. Keeps you safe. Once they’re tight, take out the rest of your blade screws. To get your blade out or remove it, loosen your handles while still holding pressure up and then bring your knife down. Pull your knife out.
Now, you got your blade out. You loosen the two bolts on your scabbard, your knife carrier, and pull the screws. Dump the blade out. Try not to touch it. These blades are extremely sharp. Load in the dull blade. Put your handles back in the new blade that you’re gonna put in the machine. Move it back. Insert the tie bolts back into the knife carrier. Make sure that your screws are tight for shipping purposes. Then install your new knife.
When installing your new blade, start low on the right hand side, lift your left end up. Be very careful not to chip the edge of your blade. Then slide it into the carrier. Make sure you’re all the way to the top. Tighten your handles. Make sure they’re not gonna slip. And then insert your blade screws. Remove the two handles. Insert the last two remaining screws. Keep them snug, not overly tight, just snug. You do not want your blade to slide in this position. Now that your blade’s in, you’re gonna want to flip your cut stick or put a new cut stick in. Here, I flipped it to a clean side. All ready to go.

When your actual cut sheet is longer or off from your display, an accuracy adjustment is needed. I use 11 x 17-inch piece of paper to cut over the whole area of a bad gauge. Set my machine to 2 inches. The machine will beep when it's there. Make your cut. Take out my strip. I get my measurement. Right now, my ruler says I'm at 1

The Titan 200BC is perfect for both large and small sheets of paper. This device can cut paper that's up to 20 inches wide, so you'll be able to process all the popular sizes of paper including letter, legal, and tabloid. The table is very roomy (there are 16" of space in front of the blade and 20" behind it) so you'll have a lot of workspace

This machine comes with a false clamp plate. When you use it, you'll be able to cut 3 inches' worth of paper which is about 500 sheets. If you choose not to use it, you can slice through a 3.25-inch stack. It just depends on how much pressure you want placed on the sheets. All clamping is hydraulic.

The Titan 200BC's backgauge is controlled manually. However, there is an LED display so you'll be able to see its position. There's also a light that will indicate where your paper will be cut so you can re-align it if necessary.

Safety is important when using any cutter. Luckily, the Titan 200BC comes with enough features to keep you safe including a plexiglass rear safety shield. You also need to use two hands when operating this machine so your hands will be far away from the blade.

This is one of the most energy efficient cutters available. The motor will run only when you're actually cutting so you'll be able to conserve power and lower your energy costs.

There are a number of options available for the Titan 200BC including side tables and a foot pedal for mechanical clamping. There's also a 1.5-horsepower motor available. (The device comes with a .75-HP motor.) Unfortunately, the options are sold separately and are pretty pricey so you'll need to consider if they're worth it or not.

The Titan 200BC is one of the largest electric paper cutters available. It measures 53" (height) x 36" (width) x 49.625" (length) so it looks pretty intimidating. (It's not, really.) This device weighs 755 pounds so it comes with casters to make moving it around less of a chore.

Finally, this trimmer is incredibly durable thanks to it being made out of steel and cast iron. However, Challenge has given this cutter a one-year warranty just in case the unexpected happens.
The Challenge Titan 200BC is a terrific paper cutter and it would be great for just about any workplace needing a heavy-duty device. This machine offers an impressive cutting capacity as well as the ability to slice through hundreds of sheets at a time. You'll find that using this trimmer is very easy and safe, thanks to features such as the manual backgauge and the plexiglass safety shield. It's disappointing that there are extras for this product that are sold separately. You may want to give the cutter a try before investing in them. Overall though, the 200M is great and worth the money, so take a look at it today.
