The kit features the patented FlexiCut Glue Strip technology and comes with an Accel Flex (manual thermal binding machine) and enough FlexiCut sheets to re-bind close to 150 books with a 1" spine width.


    The included glue sheets can be cut to any desired width, which means that you can take on any book size that needs repair.


    Tip for soft covers: use new, thick cardboard, score it twice to same spine width as the book and then paste the original front and back cover (that has been cut loose) onto the new cardboard after the book has been re-bound.

    Transcript: First remove your pages from the damaged book. measure the book’s spine, use those measurements to measure and cut the appropriate size strip from the glue sheet. Place the glue strip and bend your pages into the spine. Now you're ready to bind your book. Place your book into the flex binding will begin automatically and will take approximately one minute. After the binding is done, simply remove your book from the Flex and place it into the cooling rack. Wait for your pages to cool completely before opening the book, this will ensure you have a very strong bond.

    How to Quickly and Easily Repair Damaged Books


    Repair irreplaceable publications,
    textbooks, and first editions with these
    few, easy steps.

    Remove interior pages from the book.

    Measure the book’s spine.

    Use the spine measurements to place cut
    lines on the glue sheet.

    Cut the glue sheet.

    Place the glue strip and then the pages on
    the spine.

    Place the book, spine-side-down, in the
    Accel Flex. The machine will begin heating
    automatically.

    Once the heating is complete, place the
    bound book in the cooling rack and let
    cool completely

    Done! You have successfully repaired your
    damaged book.
