While they were created specifically for use with the Coverbind On-Demand covers, you can use these binding strips with any Coverbind thermal binding cover or use them in your own binding covers with the same spine width. These glue strip will bind up to about 500 sheets of standard paper stock. The strips are about 10-1/4" long and ideal for letter size binding for 8-1/2" x 11" pages. You can easily cut them shorter with scissors, if needed; just make sure to leave space on each end to allow the glue to spread without seeping out of the cover. These unique glue strips feature the Coverbind strength-of-bind that is world-renowned, featuring a 100% pure book binding cotton textile mesh embedded in the eco-friendly polymer adhesive. They are compatible with the full Coverbind thermal binding machine line of equipment.

These pre-cut thermal binding glue strips are 11" long that are perfect for binding letter size 8.5" x 11" books. You can also cut down the strips with your scissors for binding half size 5.5" x 8.5" books. These glue strips are made from environmentally friendly polymer glue that is embedded with a 100% pure book binding cotton textile mesh. These glue strips can be used with your Coverbind On-Demand Covers or your own custom thermal covers. How to Use Coverbind Glue Strips

Using the Coverbind On-Demand glue strips is simple! Just follow these steps:

  • Print all of your documents, including your covers (if applicable)
  • Score your cover to create the spine size of your choice
  • Place the glue strip into the spine, cutting it shorter, if needed
  • Insert your pages into the cover and jog them straight
  • Place your cover into your Coverbind thermal binding machine
  • Remove from machine and allow to cool completely before opening or handling (10 minutes recommended)

The thermal binding strips are placed in the folder/cover by hand prior to placing into the binder.

Thank you for your question. These glue strips have a sticky substance in two locations on the backside. You adhere the sticky side to the spine track inside the cover.
