Stapler fastens up to 30 sheets of paper (80 gsm) with a standard staple and 40 sheets with a 5/16" staple. There is also a staple remover on the bottom of the stapler. To use most effectively, you have to push it through the staple as far as you can, then pull up the stapler. You can see by not doing that it only pulled one side out here.
