The MBM 98M Manual Tabletop Paper Folder is the new and improved model of the 93M. It is a friction feed manual folder with a digital control panel and push-button operation. Its new features include Test Mode, a lock plate to separate the rollers to prevent them from deformation, and there’s no longer a need to reverse the second folding plate when performing a double fold job. The MBM 98M Paper Folder can fold up to 7200 sheets per hour and can load up to 150 sheets. This MBM 98M Manual Tabletop Paper Folder is also featured with simple, push-button operation, digital control panel, programmable counter with batch and total functions, color-coded fold plate graphics for quick and easy set-up, and many more.

Thank you for your question. As friction fed folder the MBM 98M Manual Tabletop Paper Folder can have issues with a glossy stock. The feed wheels can slip and cause jamming. Air fed folders have better success than friction fed machines with glossy or coated stocks.

Thank you for your questions. The MBM 98M Manual Tabletop Paper Folder is able to work with paper weights 16 to 80 lbs. bond. It would not be a good option to fold card stock even if it is pre-scored. It would not work with a A2 Stock (16.5" x 23.4") the largest sheet it will work with is 8 1/2" x 14".

Thank you for your question. The MBM 98M Manual Tabletop Paper Folder would be able to do a tri-fold with legal sized ( 8.5"x14") paper.
