One side has a tacking sheet applied to it, with a release liner. You can get these in any size and orientation you need.

To use, place an end sheet onto the front of your pages. Make sure the spine of the end sheet is along the spine of your pages, and the release liner is up. Then, do the same for the back of your pages.

With your pages bound to the cover, open your book and remove half of the release liner. Close the cover onto the end page, and pull the liner out. Rub the end sheet onto the cover, then flip the book around and do the back side. Remove half, close, and remove the liner. Rub the end sheet, and your project is complete.
