Fellowes Cosmic CL-125 Pouch Laminator

Welcome to MyBinding video. This is a demonstration video of the Cosmic 125, a pouch laminator made by Fellowes. Designed for the home or small office, the Cosmic 125 is a great little laminator. Let's watch it in action. Turn on the machine with the single button on the top; a beep and the green light will let you know the machine is ready. Gather your materials together and you're ready to laminate. With your laminating pouch, of which this machine can handle 3 and 5mil thickness, place your document way inside all the way to the crease. The crease always goes in first. Pull down the plastic shield in the front; it's a dust shield as well as a feeding table. The Cosmic 125 will take over from there. It has a laminating speed of 12 inches per minute. When completely finished, remove your project and place it on a flat surface to cool. Should you experience a jam or need to recenter your paper, there's a release button on the back of the machine. Since this machine can do both, it's better to go first cold laminating and then warm laminating. Either way, crease always goes in first and lay things on a flat surface to cool and cure. The Cosmic 125 can handle laminating pouches up to 12.5 inches wide. This gives for great versatility. It's that simple with the Cosmic 125. Designed for occasional use in the home or small office, the Cosmic 125 is an excellent laminator with the added advantage of an extra wide 12.5 inch throat. Among its features is the plastic shield on the front that duals as both a dust cover and as well as a feeding tray. A single button allows you to choose between cold and hot laminating. And after five minutes, a green light and a beep signal that the machine is ready to go for laminating. The Cosmic 125 can handle both 3 and 5mil laminating pouches. Its laminating speed is 12 inches per minute, which means a standard size document such as this will take around 60 seconds to laminate. While that might be a little bit slow for some, at the price of under $100 and the quality of this laminator, it's really not that bad. And that combined with the ability to do documents up to 12.5 inches wide, it's a good deal. Though jams are rare, there's a release button on the back of the machine allowing you to remove your document for removal or re-centering. And finally, storing is a cinch. The power cable wraps around the feet and it stores vertically, out of the way. Having two instead of four rollers, the Cosmic line is designed for occasional use. If you have lots of daily laminating to do, you'll want to think in terms of higher priced lines by Fellowes. But for what it's worth, we like this laminator.
