ProductDescription

GBC Premium Black 7/16" 3:1 Pitch Twin Loop Wires are guaranteed to add elegance and security to your documents. These GBC Premium Twin Loop Wires are also called Wire-O, WireBind, and Double Loop Wire. GBC black 7/16" 3:1 pitch elements let pages lie flat with 360 Degrees rotation for convenient note-taking and photocopying as well as provide a permanent bind to your documents--meaning your pages stay secure and protected. GBC Premium black 7/16" 3:1 pitch wire spines also look a tad more refined than a plastic comb or spiral coil. Measuring 7/16" in diameter, these black twin loop wires from GBC can hold approximately 60-80 sheets. These premium black 7/16" 3:1 pitch twin loop wires come open in a "C" shape, allowing you to insert the spines into your punched pages and then simply use your wire binding machine or wire closer to finish your books. Product number 9775023G.

The standard length of wire is 11 inches and again there are custom lengths for when you need it. And like most bindings, there are several different colors to choose from. It is important that your wire works with your punch and wire binding machine. First check what type of wire your machine uses before purchasing and that is twin loop wire. Questions & Answers
Q:
I have a GBC Docubind TL200 - what is the right item number for a spine/wire to purchase for a document that is about 1/2 inch thick? I'm more familiar with the IBICO Ibimatic plastic spines.
Asked by Laura
A:
Thank you for your question. To wire bind a document approx 1/2" thick you would want to go with either a 9/16" or 5/8" spine. You can find our sizing guide here .

Q:
I am looking for black binding wire 3:1 1/4 black and 27 loops, i have ordered it before. why can i not find it on the website?
Asked by Carli
A:
Thank you for your question. You can find custom cut wires if you search "Custom Cut Twin Loop" that will bring you to the correct page. You will then select from the drop down menu to choose the color, diameter and loops.

Q:
How do I determine the size of the wire to buy? Last year I purchased 3/8 wire and they turned out too small. Would it be by the distance between the two pages holes?
Asked by Earl Robicheaux
A:
Thank you for your question! We have a sizing guide listed on our website that will help you determine the correct size of wire to buy. If you do a search on our website for sizing guide the correct page will come up for you. The distance between holes helps you figure out the pitch of the machine you are using. Pitch refers to the number of punches per inch for example a 3:1 wire machine punches 3 holes for every 1 inch.
