Note: The size of the plastic comb should always be 1/8" thicker than the size of the book. To determine the size of comb that you need, measure the thickness of your book (including covers) and add 1/8".

If you’re watching this video, you’re probably not sure which to buy, but we have thousands of these types of combs in our stock and the basic idea here is business casual is nice and glossy and the professional has a mat finish to it. Sizes will range from 3/16 of an inch all the way up to 2 inches. Featured here is 1/4 inch that can handle 25 sheets, 3/8 of an inch that can handle 55 sheets and then ½ inch that can handle 85 sheets of 20 pound paper and these examples are not filled to the max but they do look like.
