For larger offices needing a shared departmental shredder, the Intimus 602CC is a great option.  Functional design and automatic operations make this device efficient and simple to use.  Fast speed and large capacity enable the 602CC to withstand the heavy duty shredding needs of any office.  Here is a more detailed look at this device.

Strengths:

• This shredder is very easy to use.  It offers fully automatic operation so even the most inexperienced users will find it simple to use.  An easy to read panel offers optical signals to let you know the machine’s status.  Additionally, this model is rated for dustless use to cut down on cleaning and prevent corrosion from micro-particles.  For added convenience, a pull-up shelf offers extra storage for paper or other items and folds down to nestle in the front of the shredder and stay accessible.
• The specially hardened steel blades are driven by a powerful, maintenance-free engine.  Two excellent features are worth pointing out: continuous run and silent operation.  The first means no more waiting for your shredder to be ready to run.  This one will shred all day long without needing frequent cool down periods.  And while silent operation doesn’t mean completely noiseless, it does provide a quieter working environment than do most shredders.

Weaknesses:

• The remnants created only offer a level 3 security.  This secures general office items as well as most confidential personal and business information.  However, businesses with highly classified material to dispose of would be better off with either the level 4 security version of this model or one of Intimus’ high security shredders.
• At 132 pounds when empty, this is a heavy machine.  But with casters on the bottom for easy mobility, we don’t think most users will find this to be a big problem.
