- The PL265 has a 2.875-inch cutting capacity. That basically means it’s capable of cutting over 700 sheets at once, which is more than an entire ream of paper. Cutting capacities don’t come much larger than this.
- This machine has a blade that’s 26 inches wide. (Plus, there’s a whopping 16 inches of space in front of the blade.) Since the blade is so large you’ll be able to trim both large and small pieces of paper including legal- and letter-sized sheets, which are the two most common types of paper. If you want to trim really thin paper such as carbonless sheets, you can use a false clamp to get the job done. All together, this is a very versatile trimmer that should fulfill your cutting needs.
- The PL265 has a backgauge that can advance automatically, making it easy to do repeated cuts. You can control the position of the backgauge digitally which is really convenient.
