By using heat activated adhesive, you have the ability to ensure your projects are aligned properly before gluing. The adhesive has a low tack quality when it is cold, allowing it to reposition easily. Once enough heat is applied by running it through a laminator, the adhesive becomes permanent, but by that time you know your project is already perfect.
