Thank you for your question. You would be able to use a larger pouch to laminate multiple smaller sheets. You will just want to leave a wide enough margin between the sheet to leave a boarder of laminate around each smaller piece after trimming to maintain the seal.

Thank you for your question. I spoke with the manufacturer of our MyBinding branded laminating pouches and unfortunately they do not have UV protection.

You should always feed laminating pouches with the sealed end first in order to prevent pouch jams and issues with your laminator. Since your laminator only has a 9.5" opening you will want to use letter size laminating pouches that are sealed on the short side of the pouch. These pouches that you are looking at are sealed on the short side.

We don't get this request often so it isn't available for order on our site. However, we would be glad to add a slot punch in letter sized pouches for you. The cost would be $10 per pack of pouches and we can usually add the slots within 1 day. Just give our customer service team a call at 1-800-944-4573 to place your order.

When you laminate a document with these pouches the plastic becomes permanently bonded with the paper. In theory you should be able to cut the laminate flush with the edge of the paper and the film should never come apart (we call this delamination). However, keep in mind that if you do flush cut the pouch it will be possible for water or moisture to affect the edge of the document. Also, some types of inks and toners are more difficult to stick to than others which can also cause delamination when dealing with flush cut items. All that to say, it is probably fine but if in doubt just leave a small border around the laminated item to ensure a permanent waterproof seal.

These laminating pouches are all designed for use with a thermal pouch laminator (hot). The model of laminator that you have will determine the thickness of pouches that you can select. Many inexepnsive laminators can only do 3mil and 5mil thicknesses. More expensive models will get hotter allowing you to go up to 7mil or 10mil. Cold laminating pouches are available if you don't have a machine. However, the cost per pouch is usually a LOT higher and thus these thermal pouches are usually a far better option.
