You can remove, add, and change the punch heads. To do so unscrew them in the back. The piece on the bottom will come off as well.
Now remove the small metal piece on the end of the lever pole. You can slide the pole out from there, or it is easier to remove all the punch heads and then slide it out.
Once it’s out you can make your adjustments. Now in the pole is a crevasse; this piece fits into it when we slide the punch head in. This means we have to the gray piece down enough to align it with the crevasse—which was much harder than I thought it should have been.
Once all your punch heads are aligned in anywhere from a 2 hole punch pattern to a 7 hole pattern, put the little metal piece back on and screw them all back on.
It’s a pretty basic hole punch.
