Welcome to MyBinding Video. This is the Punch Head Replacement Guide for the MP80 3-Hole Punch from Martin Yale. If your MP80 isn’t operating as smoothly as you remember it did, it’s probably time to change the punch heads. This replacement pack comes with three 9/32” punch heads and five plastic cutting pads. To start, remove the plastic guard that shields the punch head. Then turn the unit over and remove the rubber chip receptacle base. We’ll need to remove the plastic cutting pads to get enough clearance to remove the punch head. The best way I found was to take a coin and press it firmly against the base of the cutting pad to pop it out. Turn the unit back over and use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the bolt holding the punch head in place. Extract the old head, place the new one in its spot and use a finger to hold it up in position as you tighten the screw. Just pop a new cutting pad underneath it, put the plastic guard back on and you’re finished with that head. Repeat the process for the remaining two and your MP80 will punch like the day you bought it. For more videos and all your binding needs, visit MyBinding.com
