The MBM 1500S Automatic Programmable Air Suction Tabletop Folder features a top feed, adjustable air suction feed system, suitable for digitally printed and coated stocks. An automatic feed table ensures optimum feed pressure, while the automatic conveyor belt and self-setting exit rollers ensure smooth ejection of folded paper. The 1500S has an air pressure selection knob, allowing for adjustment of air suction for different weights of paper, plus single sheet feeding is automatically maintained for different weights of paper. This versatile and easy-to-operate machine also features an LED control panel pre-programmed with 6 standard folds available at the touch of a button.

Take your paper and stack it up. Make sure there's a little bit of air in between the sheets by fluffing it so and place it into the feed tray. The back stop to hold it in is hooked in simply with a magnet, real simple. And all the controls are on the front, very intuitive and makes a lot of sense. The six most common folds are programmed in and you can program in three more. When you think you're all set, press the test button and the 1500S will run two sheets. No need to program or tell the machine what size sheet you're using. The auto sensors on it will detect what size paper you're using and make the appropriate folds. If the test run is just how you like it, hit the start button. It will process your entire stack or until you tell it to stop. Changing the size of paper is easy, the fence moves right and left and is connected and magnets on the bottom hold all the different plates. The strength of air-fed or air suction is the accuracy. There are no wheels spinning and grabbing paper, so it simply just lifts paper and shoots it through with air and folds it precisely. The machine is extremely fast and outputs speed and therefore the distance between the finished product is adjustable. There it is, the 1500S by MBM. Folding paper can be a tedious chore and it can take up a lot of time, especially when you need to process hundreds of documents. Luckily, there are devices such as the MBM 1500S Tabletop Automatic Air Suction Paper Folding Machine. This powerful device has everything you need to fold a large number of documents in a flash. Check out its strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths:
- The 1500S can fold as many as 15,000 sheets per hour so it’s a great choice if you need to quickly crank out a lot of documents. This is a great machine for mail rooms, busy offices, and print shops.
- This device will work with paper ranging in size from 4” x 8.25” to 13” x 19”. The paper can vary in thickness, so you will only need one machine for all of your paper folding needs. (The thickest paper this device can handle is of the 80 lb. variety.) You can even fold coated stocks with this device.
- You can place up to 500 sheets in this device’s feed tray, which is the equivalent of an entire ream of paper. Since you won’t be feeding paper in to the device constantly, you will be able to spend your time on other projects.
- The 1500S comes pre-programmed with 6 folds for your convenience. You can also program up to 30 folds in the machine’s memory. There are memory keys you can press to access the custom folds.
- The device has a number of fully automated parts to help you fold your paper quickly. These parts include an automatic paper size sensor, feed table, and conveyor belt. Also, using this device is a snap since it has a control panel with an LED counter and micro-adjustment dials so you can get the settings just right.
