The MBM DestroyIt 2260 Cross Cut Shredder is an ideal system for deskside/personal shredding use. The DestroyIt 2260 Cross Cut shredder features a photo cell controlled automatic start and stop function, and a single multifunction switch with pilot light for stand-by/stop/reverse. The Destroyit 2260 Cross Cut shredder has hardened steel cutting shafts that will easily dispose of staples and paper clips. The Destroyit 2260 Strip cut shredder comes equipped with a quiet and powerful single phase motor and a fully enclosed, dust-proof gearbox housing. It has a 5 gallon bin capacity and has double protection against overheating. All Destroyit shredders have a lifetime warranty on strip cut and cross cut shafts and wheels. All other parts have a 1 year warranty (excluding wearables).

Here is a more detailed look at the 2260.
Strengths:
- Use of this compact, simple device begins with a photo cell controlled start and stop. When documents slide into the feed, the machine begins shredding immediately. A single switch offers stand-by, stop, and reverse options, activated both manually and automatically. The control element has backlit icons to indicate operational status.
