This MBM Ideal AP40 Medical Edition Air Purifier is a professional air cleaner with individually replaceable high-quality filter elements that is ideal in rooms rooms of around 400 square feet. The Ideal AP40 filters pollutants such as fine dust, pollen and
acarid allergens, pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, and mold spores, cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, chemical vapors, and
odors from the air. The antimicrobial CleanCel equipment of the device and the antimicrobial coating “MedShield” of the HEPA
filter inhibit the growth of microbes and removes pathogens. Plus, the optimally selectable PlasmaWave technology supports the removal of bacteria, viruses and mold spores from the indoor air. Some other great features of the AP40 that makes it stand-out are as follows: high quality "touch control", air outlets, color-coded 3-level LED indicator, sensor system, and the ideal. AIR APP. Product Details
- High-quality “touch” control. Using the touch control, the AP40 can be controlled in an intuitive and comfortable way. Functions: On/Off, Automatic/Manual, Timer, PlasmaWave®, Key Lock, Filter Reset.
- Air outlets. Cleaned air is optimally distributed within the room through the air outlets. When the device is switched off, the outlets are automatically sealed to keep the AP40 clean.
- Color codes indicate air quality. Current quality of the indoor air is indicated by an indirect color-coded 3-level LED indicator. Dimmed ambient or night light is also included.
- Pure indoor air. The antimicrobial true HEPA filter, the carbon anti-odor filter, and the CleanCel® fine prefilter provide hygienically pure indoor air.
- Sensor system. Provides a fine dust sensor, gas and odor sensor and light sensor - for perfect indoor air in automatic mode.
- ideal. AIR APP. The device can also be controlled and viewed via smart-phone using the ideal. air app. This app supports iOS 6.0 and higher as well as Android 4.12 (Jelly Bean) and higher.
- PlasmaWave. PlasmaWave produces positive and negative ions in an optimal ratio that form hydroxyles together with hydrogen from the humid air. These hydroxyles neutralize and destroy viruses such as influenza viruses, bacteria, chemical compounds, poisons and odors at the molecular level. PlasmaWave cleans indoor air in the same manner as nature cleans the air. PlasmaWave is certified as being free of ozone.
- Cleancel. The plastic material of the air routing parts and the prefilter are equipped with an additive based on silver ion technology. This CleanCel technology inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi and acarids. Furthermore, bacterial contamination with Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella enteridis is inhibited.
- Medshield. Antibacterial “MedShield” coating of the PM2.5 filter for removing 99.9% of the pathogen viruses, bacteria and mold spores from the air.
