This 25.5" x 164' MediaTac consists of a smooth coating of Drytac's aqueous acrylic adhesive on both sides of a 0.5 mil polyester film carrier. The adhesive's new non-slip release liner allows boards pre-coated with MediaTac to stack safely without slippage. The 25.5" x 164' MediaTac adhesive is ideal for image decal and high volume mounting applications. This adhesive can be used for pre-coating mounting boards and for mounting prints to smooth porous substrates such as foam boards, cardstock, GatorFoam and tempered hardboard. All of this makes MediaTac an economical general purpose pressure-sensitive aqueous adhesive with a non-slip release liner. Product number PSA26-25164.

Technical Data

MediaTac is a 0.5 mil (12µ) clear PET film, coated on both sides with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, one of which is protected by a bleached clay coated Kraft paper siliconized on both sides with a differential release. The adhesive is self-wound on the release liner.

Typical Applications
  • Developed for photo labs where a high grade of moisture stability within the mounting film is required.
  • Ideal for high-volume mounting, including pre-coating boards and image decal applications.
  • Recommended for mounting prints to smooth, porous substrates, such as white display board, foam boards, Gatorfoam, and tempered hardboard.
